Building Your Fan List

The internet provides great ways to build your fan list. Safelists and Listbuilders are tools you can use to bring people straight to your music fan page. Join a list building site and follow instructions on how to increase visitors to your website or blog. You will be instructed to provide an email to receive emails from other aspiring artists or advertisers. As you view each provided link in the emails, you will receive mailing credits allowing you to send out emails to thousands of contacts. A short introduction about your blog or fan page will entice readers to click your link, so use creative content each time you send out emails.

Nobody wants to click a link that doesn't seem interesting or entertaining. Safelists and Listbuilders are generally used for advertising purposes, but when it comes to entertainment, everybody can be persuaded to take a few minutes and view your music website. Consistency and determination will grow your contact list, so make sure to view emails daily and send out emails every two or three days. Also place a link to your listbuilding site on you site, to encourage other artists or advertisers to join your downline in those Listbuilding websites. This will earn you more free advertising.

Also, posting to your blog or adding new content to your site on a regular basis is paramount to helping attract natural traffic to your page. Write an article about your music or about the ways you like to promote your site. The Google search engine will catalog your article. Then as people view your site or click on links in your site, your website will increase link popularity. What this means is that whenever someone happens to do a Google search about the general topic of your post, you are more likely to show up at the top of the search result. Also, keywords used from your article will affect the likelihood of page views.
